ProRelo started in August of 2018 when Rick Hosea and Rick Soeder decided to come out of retirement and open a moving company. These two friends have about 60 years of combined experience in the industry, and they want to give you the best experience possible.
The year was 2018. The city was Reno, Nevada. Rick Hosea had retired after being company president of a United Van Lines agent in San Francisco, California. Rick Soeder had retired after being company president of a United Van Lines agent in Denver, Colorado. One day, they got a call.
Rick and Rick had collaborated quite a bit over the years, and they were approached by United Van Lines to see whether they had any interest in starting a moving company of their own and acting as the company’s agent in Reno. They jumped at the chance to do something different.
“We both served with a great deal of passion.
We know that what we do matters.”
Rick Hosea, CEO
However, they didn’t want to start just any moving company. The two Ricks made a commitment to develop a reputation as being the highest-quality moving company in Reno. Fast-forward to 2020, and they acquired another two moving companies, based in Boise, Idaho, and Spokane, Washington.
As Rick Soeder says, they were in the right place, at the right time, with the right people. They rebranded the business from RenoRelo Worldwide to ProRelo, and seized the opportunity to bring moving excellence to people living in, and moving to, these incredible cities. Today, the company employs more than 50 people, who all share the Rick and Rick’s commitment to customer care.
